Fridays: 8:20 AM - 1:30 PM
Drop off: 8:20 - 8:30 AM

Attended by children who finished Primary (or equivalent) and who are 6 - 12 years old.

Tuesday: Extended Work Cycle + Violin (optional provided by outside vendor)

Primary Full Day Program  (Children’s House)

Monday through Thursday: 12:30 PM - 3:30 PM
(Extension of the day for Primary Montessori children)
Friday: All children are dismissed at 12:30 PM


Attended by Final Year and 3 and 4-year-olds.
These 3 and 4-year-olds spend the morning together with their fellow Primary-aged classmates in the Children's House. At 12:30 PM, they extend their day with lunch, have a rest period, and then return to their Montessori work or special projects.

Primary Mornings (Children's House)

Monday through Friday: Children may arrive as early as 8:15 AM

Primary Drop-In (Children's House)

Monday through Thursday: Children currently enrolled may stay the entire afternoon until 3:30

Friday: All children are dismissed at 12:30 PM (drop-in option not available)

Young Children's Community

Young Children's Community Full Day Program

Monday through Thursday 12:30 - 3:15 PM

Attended by 15-month - 36-month-olds.
These 15-month - 36-month-olds spend the morning together with their fellow Young Children's Community-aged classmates.
At 12:30 PM, they extend their day with lunch, nap, and then return to their Montessori work.

Fridays: All children are dismissed at 1:30 PM

  • The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and the American Montessori Society (AMS) are the training institutes from which FCMS requires teachers to hold certification. Both programs require bachelor's degrees and AMI trained teachers graduate with a Masters of Education. The AMI and AMS formal trainings are just the first step. The entire FCMS team, like the children, are life-long learners with professional and personal development a vital element of staff life and an FCMS priority.
